1. Plain English version
We build and run your website and back-office automation. You pay a monthly subscription. You can cancel any time. If you do, your site goes offline and you keep your domain. We won't lock you in or play games. If anything breaks, text us. we fix it.
2. What we provide
Subject to your subscription tier, Merto delivers: a mobile-first hosted website built for your trade, managed hosting and uptime, and four owner-requested edits per month (Foundation, $497 setup + $147/mo). Higher tiers add more content and automation — Momentum ($397/mo) adds more edits, monthly SEO + AEO blog posts, and a performance report; Authority ($797/mo) adds unlimited edits, business email setup, customer-site lead capture, and Merto AI (a single SMS thread for all owner interactions). Momentum and Authority are part of our published roadmap and ship after Foundation is in production. Specific inclusions for each tier are listed on the pricing section of merto.ai.
3. What you provide
Accurate business information at intake (services, hours, pricing, licensing). Permission to publish AI-generated copy that we've reviewed and you've approved. Timely responses when we need clarifications.
4. Domain & data
Your domain is registered in your name through our registrar. If you cancel, the domain stays with you; we transfer it out and remove our DNS pointing. Any customer data we collect on your behalf (site content, photos, and at Authority tier, leads) is your data. We'll export it within 7 days of cancellation.
5. Cancellation
Cancel anytime by texting either of us. Subscription ends at the close of the current billing period. Your site is taken offline at that point. Setup fees are non-refundable.
6. Limit of liability
Merto is a small team. We do our best work, review every word that goes live, and respond within hours. If something we publish causes a problem, our total liability is limited to the most recent month of subscription you paid. Bigger commitments require a separate written agreement.
